“Skapara tōjō”, the first TSPO long-play, with one of the band’s earliest hits, “Monster Rock”, was issued in 1990 by Epic Records. And on the occasion of the jubilee, the Japanese have prepared a special release for their fans.
A week ago, nine years after shooting, “Short Movie About Skanking” had its premiere. What piece of work is that? – you might ask. Meanwhile, around 2010, Robert left his mark on musical and, as it turns out, also cinematic climate of Sosnowiec, city known for its dynamic ska and reggae scene.
It is now available on CD and digital – soundtrack to “Rudeboy: The Story Of Trojan Records” documentary film, which had its worldwide premiere 2 days ago at the BFI London Film Festival.
